An original US 1 Sheet poster for the classic 1961 Cy Endfield English/U.S. science fiction fantasy adventure thriller - "A world beyond imagination!"; "Adventure beyond belief!"; "They plunged into a world of incredible dangers and mysterious forces!"; with "Visual Effects Created by Ray Harryhausen"; "in SuperDynamation"; "Based on the Jules Verne Novel"; about prisoners of war, captured by Confederates during the Civil War, that escape to an uncharted South Pacific island via hot-air balloon!

Note that there were two different one-sheets created for the first release of this movie. The first type of one-sheet is dated 1961, with a SuperDynamation credit at bottom center which this poster has, and the second run which does not have this credit was dated later in 1962.
